An infiltration bid was foiled by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Gurdaspur, Punjab today morning.A Pakistani intruder was shot dead by 120 battalion BSF at Bharial post near pillar number 02 around 4:30 am.

The intruder has been identified as a 60-year-old woman and the incident was confirmed by BSF in an official statement.

Earlier on Saturday, Jammu Police confirmed that they had arrested five persons and busted a LeT module, following the May 7 attack on a police station on Tanta Doda district.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) will be holding public hearings today on the case of death sentence given by Pakistan to the alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav.

According to reports, Pakistani intelligence agency – Inter-State Intelligence (ISI) is trying to infiltrate boys of 10 to 15 years age group in the guise of inadvertent crossers for collecting specific information related to security forces before infiltration by hardcore terrorists.

Indian security forces are maintaining severe caution in keeping a check on the cross border infiltrations, especially after the Krishna Ghatti incident, where two Indian soldiers were mutilated by Pakistan Army.
