After the decision to ban the currency people are facing problems standing in long queues to change their currency and deposit money. However after 15 days of decision the situation is still not improved and people are getting restless.

On Tuesday about 25 to 30 social activists burned effigy of PM Modi and showed their protest against the decision. They also burn the banned currency notes and demand to solve the issue as earliest.

"We are standing in long ques for days and that is very painful as after waiting for hours you can only exchange lesser amount. As to mark our protest we burn the effigy and notes and demand the government to solve the problem as earliest," said Sunil Parmar.
