District Legal Service Authority, Faith Foundation and Kripa Foundation jointly organised a awareness programme on free legal aid to everyone under the National Legal Literacy Week celebration. The aim is to spread the message about giving free legal aid to the people who cannot afford the procedures.Every year 9th November is celebrated as National Legal Literacy Day and this year it is extend upto 18th to reach more and more people. The DLSA along with Faith Foundation and Kripa Foundation works in Vadodara city and district to create awareness among the people who are not getting the legal services due to the cost.“We organised camps in schools, distribute leaflets, demonstration to spread the message to the beneficiaries. People whose income is less than 1 lakh along with females, children, disabled, victims of mass disaster, sexual exploitation, trafficking, senior citizens and SC ST all are eligible for free legal aid services. We reach the people through these programmes and make them understand the things,” said M.A. Mirza secretary DLSA Vadodara.
