Prince Harry HIV test on facebook live to raise awareness

Prince Harry has taken an HIV test live on Facebook to encourage people to get tested for the virus.

The 31-year-old British royal shared the experience on Social media to show others how easy it is to get tested for the virus.

The test was performed at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, for which the 31-year-old prince tested negative.

Kensington Palace tweeted Harry took the test LIVE because he “believes his generation needs to take leadership in the fight against HIV, or risk losing the gains of those who’ve come before.”

It may be noted that his late mother Diana was famously known for raising awareness about the disease and was one of the first major figures to work to destigmatize AIDS and HIV in her life.
