    The automaker company of India Maruti Suzuki has hiked prices of several models by up to Rs 20,000.

    Maruti Suzuki increases in price of newly launched SUV Vitara Brezza will be Rs 20,000 while Baleno’s price hiked by Rs 10,000.

    On some select range, the price hike will be  between Rs 1,500 and Rs 5,000, Maruti Suzuki said in a regulatory filing.

    Maruti Suzuki said on a reason of price hike that, The price revision is based on factors like segment-wise demand, forex movements and strategic objectives of the company.

    The price hike is effective from today.
