Prepaid autorikshaw facility started at Vadodara railway station

In order to give the passengers a much needed relief from the high fares Western Railway Vadodara division started prepaid autorikshaw at Vadodara railway station. The fares of the prepaid autorikshaw is as per the RTO guidelines and the passengers have to deposit the money at the booth and then they can hire the auto to their desired destination.

After the permission of prepaid autorikshaw track the service starts at Vadodara railway station from Friday. The prepaid auto track is exclusively for the autos who registered themselves with the service. The autorickshaw driver have to register their driving licence, PUC, Batch Number and 200 rupees as registration fees at the railway station premises. After the registration the prepaid autorikshaw were alloted numbers to ply as prepaid autos.

The prepaid autorikshaw will provide much relief to the passengers who pays money according to the auto drivers. However with this facility now the passengers will pay the amount as decided by the RTO and hire a auto from the station to their destination. The facility was inaugurated by MP Ranjan Bhatt along with other dignitaries remain present.
