An earthquake of 7.8 Magnitude hit the Pacific coast of Ecuador on Saturday. It’s a strongest earthquake in last decades since 1979. The earthquake struck early evening at a depth of 20 km and was felt all around the country.
Atleast 70 people were killed and hundreds of injured. Government warned residents to leave coastal areas. Capital Quito, Guayaquil where some buildings were cracked and collapsed, according to media reports. State of emergency declared by President Rafael Correa.
