Gujarat will see elections in two phases on 9th and 14th December where the voters will decide the fate of the candidates. For a smooth flow of elections the administration already undertake the security arrangements at booths and other important areas and soon the teams will deploy at the spots.

The police teams are all set for the security arrangements during elections and also sure not to miss their voting rights. On Mondaybefore the bandobast duty about 4500 policemen and homeguards of Vadodara city and district took to postal ballot and cast their votes at Pratapnagar headquarters.As per ACP K.S. Desai the police jawansand homeguards will go for the election duty and before that they cast their votes in postal ballot at Pratapnagar headquarters on Monday.
Total 10 booths are there for the policemen and homeguards where police at 1544 from Vadodara city, 1200 from Vadodara Rural and 1810 homeguards will cast their votes.

On Monday the police jawansand homeguards reached the election booths to cast their votes before the duty. The election starts from 8 in the morning and continues till 5pm. Postal ballots will be send to the police station for those who are unable to reach the booths.

Elections officers are also present at the centre to maintain the model code of conduct.
