Police operation on overbridge against the parking vehicles

Vadodara Raopura police arrested 13 persons with their vehicles who illegally parked their vehicles on the over bridge and create problems for the daily commuters passing from there.

The police commissioner issues a notification in this regard and declared the over bridge area as No Stopping and No Parking Zone.

The strictly implement the notification Raopura police made different teams headed by Police Inspector F.K. Jogal and conducted search on Lal Baug Overbrige and Akota Dandiya Bazaar bridge.

The teams in their action arrested 13 persons with their vehicles for disobeying the notification for not parking their vehicles in the No Parking Zone. Police arrested 6 from Akota bridge and 7 from Lalbaug bridge with rickshaws, Chhakdas and motorcycles parked on the bridges.

Over bridge in Vadodara are favorite hangout destinations for the youngsters and they often parked their vehicles and sit for long hours there. Specially late in the evening the crowd increased and due to this the two wheeler and four wheel riders faced problems and in the past serious accidents also happened due to this.

Not only that cases of teasing, passing lewd comments and couples involving in indecent acts are often seen.

To check all these things the police launched this operation and continue the same.
