PM Narendra Modi, accompanied by BJP President Amit Shah and other Party leaders, laid the foundation for the ruling party’s new headquarters in Delhi on Thursday.
Prime Minister Modi was also attended by Shah in the ‘Bhoomi Poojan’ for the new building.
The proposed office with 70 rooms, spread across two acres, will come up on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, 5 km from the current office on Ashoka Road.
The new building will have wi-fi, underground parking, conference halls, media facilities, eateries, studios, a library, reading room and other facilities.
The new building is expected to be ready before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
