PM Modi-Macron inaugurate solar plant in Mirzapur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi receives French President Emmanuel Macron in Varanasi. They will attend multiple events in Uttar Pradesh today.

French President Emmanuel Macron inaugurated the solar power plant in Mirzapur in collaboration with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday morning. During this time with both the leaders Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Ram Naik and others were present. After Mirzapur, both leaders will visit Varanasi parliamentary constituency of PM Modi.

The solar power project, established in Dadar Kalan, is the largest solar power project in the state. About 75 MW solar power plants cost Rs 560 crores. This plant aims to generate 5 lakh units of electricity daily. This will help about 1.5 lakh households to get electricity.
