- GIR
The Gir forest is the only natural habitat of Asiatic Lions. To visit the Gir National Park, one can watch the lions from a little distance. It is home to a range of other wild animals like the hyena, black bucks, fish owls and many more.
- Somnath Temple
Somnath temple is home to one of the most sacred of the twelve Jyoti Lingas of Lord Shiva. It lies on the shores of the Arabian Sea and has been destroyed and rebuilt countless times. Devotees from all over the world visit the temple to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings that is considered our creator.
- Rann of Kutch
One of the most beautiful things Gujarat has to offers the Rann of Kutch. Itlies between the Thar Desert and the Majestic Arabian Sea; the place is a wonder of salt and sand. On full moon nights, the desert shines as brightly as a diamond giving the mind a sense of calmness.
- Dwarka
Dwarka is one of the famed ‘Char Dham’ that is the Hindu pilgrimages. It is believed to be the ancient kingdom of Lord Krishna and is considered a holy place. Resting on the mouth of river Gomti on the Arabian Sea, it is a good place to catch water animals like octopuses, sea urchins, starfish, etc.
- Rani ki Vav, Patan
It is a rare specimen of love where the unusual happened. This time the queen built a monument in memory of her king. Rani ki Vav is an ancient step well from the 11th century which was constructed by Queen Udayamati in memory of her husband,king Bhimdev. While going down the stairs, one goes down seven levels and is home to around 1500 sculptures or more.
