Placement of Health Station Kiosk at Vadodara, Anand and Bharuch Railway stations

Now, passengers can avail the facility of checking their health while travelling as Indian Railways have taken various steps to improve the passenger’s travelling experience. On the same line, Vadodara Division of Western Railway has introduced an innovative concept of installing Health Station Kiosks at Vadodara, Anand and Bharuch Railway stations for passengers.

Railways have roped in a private firm to install these kiosks at the stations. Necessary formalities have been completed and by the end of this month passengers will start availing this facility. This move will facilitate travelling passengers to get health check-up at fixed minimum rates. Railways will also earn Non-Fare Revenue from this concept with zero investment.

Passengers can avail facilities of various tests for one’s wellness such as Height, Weight, body mass index, body fat percentage, bone mineral composition and others at the nominal rates ranging from Rs. 50/- to Rs. 100/-. This will add to the passenger amenities already provided at the stations like catering facilities, parking facilities.
