Pickup van crushed one and half year old playing near home in Vadodara

Driver fled from the spot locals vandalised the van demand justice

A Bolero Pickup van crushed a one and half year old boy playing near his home in Laxminagar, Vadodara. Following which, the enraged locals vandalised the van as driver fled after the accident. Police rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported and further investigation is underway.

The locals said that the poultry van crushed the child and don't even applied the brakes. He immediately fled from the spot after the incident. This led to a huge outcry among the locals and enraged people vandalised the pickup van. Following which, Bapod police rushed to the spot and registered the case of accident. Further investigation is on in the matter.

The uncle of the boy Asif Ali said, his nephew was playing in the yard when the van crushed him. The driver didn’t even applied brakes. They just want justice, not anything else.

A local woman said that the child playing here has been hit by a poultry farm vehicle. The van was full of chickens and driver fled from the spot after the incident.
