A matter of physical stalking came to light on Thursday when the staff nurse of Sterling Hospital complained the matter to the women helpline.
The staff alleged that one Fahmi Motiwala identified himself as relative of a patient came from Bharuch stalk the female staff regularly and shoot mobile clips when they helped the patient her mother who is a cancer patient.
The female staff nurses and helpers on Thursday were fed up of regular physical stalking by a Bharuch resident who not only stalked them but shoot mobile videos of them. They said that on Thursday the alleged stalker pushed a staff member on which she recieved injuries and admitted in the Intensive care Unit.
"The person claimed to be the son of a relative always stalked us and doing such things with every one inside the hospital. He always talked touching us and whenever we are helping the patient he inappropriately pointed on our body parts and then tell us to help her mother. It's very embarrassing for us and if that not all he shoot the whole thing in his mobile," said one of the nurse.
The female nurses and helpers along with the male staff shouted slogans against the management as inspite of many applications they are not taking any action against them. Finally they called the 181 women helpline to help them get rid of the stalker.
"We recieved the complainant about the alleged person who physically stalked the staff nurses and helpers of the Sterling Hospital. We reached and get to know that the person named Fahmi Motiwala claimed that he brought her mother in the hospital for treatment as she has cancer. The staff nurses and helpers told us that the accused physically stalked them for months and also shoot mobile clips of them when they helped her mother. As our work is to counseling them but here we found that they need legal help and hence we filed a complaint at Gotri police station," said Manisha Dindor Counsellor Abhayam Helpline.
