Person drowned in Chhani canal in Vadodara

Fire brigade began search operation.

A middle age man drowned inside Narmada canal near Chhani in Vadodara city. He slipped from the staircase and drowned inside.

As per details Arvind Dahyabhai Patel residing at the slums near Chhani Dasha Ma temple and was a casual labourer. On Thursday he went to the canal and slipped from the staircase.

As the news spread the fire brigade reached the spot and began searching for him with rubber boats and ropes. After hours of search the fire brigade failed to search him. Fathegunj police registered the case and began investigating.
