ST department made adequate arrangements to avoid any chaos

After the announcement of night curfew in four metros of the state, the citizens who came to celebrate Diwali vacation have left for their hometowns as soon as possible.

The government had to carry out a major exercise to repatriate several people stranded in various parts of the state in March after a lockdown imposed on them as cases of Corana increased rapidly. Now once again the cases are rising after the festive season and the government is strictly announced curfew in many cities as part of preventive measures.

In Gujarat after Ahmedabad the government announced for night curfew in Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot starting from Saturday. As soon as the night curfew was announced due to the possibility of increase in cases of corona during winter, the citizens who had come to celebrate Diwali vacation in the cities were seen returning to their hometowns.

Heavy rush of people were seen at ST bus depot from Saturday morning. However the department has made adequate arrangements for them to avoid any chaos.

At the present stage, only night curfew has been announced but now people are becoming more vigilant as they reminded of the loss during the lockdown. Citizens are taking precautionary measures to be prepared for the worse situation if witnessing in future.
