After the announcement of night curfew in four metros of the state, the citizens who came to celebrate Diwali vacation have left for their hometowns as soon as possible.

The government had to carry out a major exercise to repatriate several people stranded in various parts of the state in March after a lockdown imposed on them as cases of Corana increased rapidly. Now once again the cases are rising after the festive season and the government is strictly announced curfew in many cities as part of preventive measures.

In Gujarat after Ahmedabad the government announced for night curfew in Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot starting from Saturday.
