    No casualties reported as house was vacant

    A team of Vadodara fire brigade rushed to the spot after the paver block outside a house outside a dilapidated building in Bajwada Khatri Pol caved in. 

    No casualities was reported as no one was staying in the house. However, the landlord has been instructed by the ward office to demolish the building.

    The paver block outside the old house in Bajwada Khatri Pol early morning of Friday. The fire brigade team rushed to the spot after the locals called them about the incident.

     The landlord who lives nearby was also rushed to the place after the information. She said there is a Vav under the house and that might be the reason of the paver blocked caved in. However no one was residing inside and that averted a major tragedy.

    Jawan Jalamsinh of the fire brigade said, they received the message and found the drainage line seems to be passing from there. No casualties were reported and the road has been closed as a precautionary measure.   The ward office was also informed about the incident and they have initiated action in the matter.
