Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao visited SSG hospital and reviewed the situation about the facilities. At present 656 patients admitted at SSG Hospital and about 575 patients at Gotri Hospital.

He said there has been very heavy inflow of patients continuing since last three weeks in both SSG and Gotri Hospitals. However there is not much waiting time at OPD or queues of Ambulances or mismanagement at Hospital. This is possible because of an efficient system of referrals and transfers to Satellite Hospitals which include Free Beds at Private Hospitals and Extension Facilities.

He added that about 400 Patients of Gotri and SSG are in Free Beds at Pioneer Hospital, Dhiraj Hospital and Parul Hospital. Another 240 Patients of both hospitals are in Extension Facility at Atladra COVID Hospital and 220 at Samras COVID Hospital.

Each day they shift or redirect 75 to 80 patients from each of SSG and Gotri to any of these Satellite Hospitals so that there is no excessive burden on any one Hospital.
