Asking to give him leave, Gotri police further investigating in the case
Patient undergoing treatment at Sterling Hospital in Vadodara committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of the hospital. Upon learning of the incident, Gotri police reached the spot and conducted further investigation. The cause suicide is not known, however the relatives said, for last couple of days, the patient was telling them on phone about leave but the doctors did not allowed.
As per available details Ratan Tadvi of Kachhata village in Bodeli taluka of Chhotaudepur district was admitted to Bodeli hospital, then referred to Sterling Hospital in Vadodara city for further treatment. He was suffering from diabetes and tuberculosis. He had been telling his relatives on the phone for two days about asking for leave and doctors don't allowed. Meanwhile on Sunday he committed suicide by jumping out of a small window on the third floor of the hospital.
As soon as the incident was reported, the staff of Gotri police station rushed to the spot and sent the body to Sayaji Hospital for postmortem. They registered a case and started further investigation.
The deceased Ratan Tadvi was working in GEB and admitted to Sterling Hospital for last 8 days. He fell down from the third floor of the ICU early this morning. However, questions arose as how he could commit suicide by jumping out of a small window.
