Parks and gardens in Vadodara city will reopen from 10th September 2020 following the strict Covid 19 guidelines. The timings will be 6 to 10am in the morning and 4 to 8pm in the evening. However the planetarium and zoo inside Sayajibaug will be closed and will open later on as per government orders.

Following the Unlock 4 guidelines, the parks and gardens will be open in Vadodara. The decision gives a much needed relief for the people specially the health enthusiasts to continue their routine after months.

The gardens will be sanitised every day to prevent the spread of infection and people wearing masks are allowed inside as per rules.

According to the guideline of coronavirus, the people have to follow the following rules in the gardens of the city. All the gardens of the city will be open from 6 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 8 pm. Do not carry food items other than drinking water bottles. No more than two persons can sit on items including benches in the garden.

As per rules people will not allowed to walk in groups as well as to meet in crowds. Also, an appeal has been made by the administration that persons below the age of 10 and above 65 should avoid going to the gardens

Entrance to Sayajibagh will be through Gate No. 2 and 4. The Sayaji Bagh Zoo, Planetarium and Ajwa Garden will be closed and legal action will be taken against people involved in violation of guidelines.
