The Human Resource Development Ministry in partnership with My Gov last month launched a ‘short essay’ competition for students of classes 9 to 12 for the third edition of Prime Minister’s Interaction with school students.

Sources said, the themes given this time for PPC 2020 are ‘Gratitude is Great’, ‘Your future depends on your aspirations’, ‘Examining Exams’, ‘Our duties, you take’ and ‘Balance is Beneficial’.

The entries for the ‘short essay’ competition, were invited online, from 2nd December, 2019 to 23rd December ,2019. Students were also invited to send their questions online for the event .

The students with best entries for both the competitions have been invited to take part in the PPC2020 programme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will answer the questions and interact with selected students, where he will discuss how to beat exam stress.

PPC2020 will have the ‘Town Hall’ format , which is unique in itself wherein the Prime Minister interacts with school students at the Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. This format was a huge success during the last 2 years.

The first edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha was held on 16th February, 2018 and second on 29th of January last year.

As per media reports, the interaction programme, became a raging hit on social media, and was the No. 1 trend conversation on “Pariksha Pe Charcha” which got more than 2.5 million impressions on twitter.
