The parents of students of Jai Ambe Vidyalaya in Manjalpur area of Vadodara city raised protest against the school after they stopped the online education of about 150 students. The parents said the administration gives reason about non payment of last year fees by the students.

Deepak Palkar, leader of parents association said, Ambe Vidyalaya is a Gujarati medium school located in Manjalpur area. The parents gathered outside the school after administration stopped the online education of 150 students giving excuse of non payment of fees of last year. They said the parents deposit fees as per FRC rules but the managment is running it’s own arbitrariness.

He further said that recently the High Court has ordered schools to provide on-line education without charging fees. But the schools are not following the orders. They will take this matter to the District Education Officer and Minister of State for Education. If the on-line education of the students is not resumed, they will intensify their agitation in the coming days.

It may be mentioned that after the order of the High Court, on-line education has been started by most of the schools in Vadodara. But Jay Ambe school is yet to start it in order to charge fees from the students. The parents made a representation to the district education officer against Ambe Vidyalaya today.
