Padra Mamlatdar and Deputy Mamlatdar caught by ACB for taking bribe

Mamlatdar of Padra Taluka Seva Sadan of Vadodara district G.D. Baria and Deputy Mamlatdar (Administration) K.J. Pargi caught by ACB for taking bribe. Both the officers were caught red handed by the Vadodara rural ACB for taking bribe of Rs 1 lakh.

Mamlatdar and Deputy Mamlatdar demanded bribe for soil work on Vadodara-Mumbai Express Highway.
Work on Vadodara-Mumbai Express Highway is underway. The complainant working for this on the highway had sought the opinion of Padra Mamlatdar for excavation of soil. Mamlatdar G.D. to give a positive opinion of this clay excavation. G.D. Baria and Deputy Mamlatdar (Administration) K. J. Pargi demanded a bribe of Rs 1 lakh to give positive opinion.

The complainant did not want to pay a bribe, so he contacted Vadodara Rural ACB and lodged a complaint against Mamlatdar and Deputy Mamlatdar (Administration). Based on the complaint, the Vadodara Rural ACB had laid a trap at the Padra Mamlatdar’s office. As soon as the complainant comes out after giving the bribe the ACB team already positioned there caught both the officers with the bribe money.

The news of Padra’s Mamlatdar and Deputy Mamlatdar being caught taking bribes spread like wildfire in the taluka and district revenue department. The ACB team arrested both the officers and brought them to Vadodara ACB and further action is underway in this matter.
