Other states residents had a close shave after a fire broke out in a Vinayak City bus carrying them for screening in Vadodara. The passengers along with the bus driver jumped out of the bus to save their lives. But most of them failed to save their belongings from the fire. The passengers as well as locals applauded the fire brigade’s timely action to control the fire.

The district administration is making efforts to repatriate residents of other states stranded due to lockdown in various areas of Vadodara city. As many as 40 people were gathered at the corporation’s North Zone office near Sama lake for process to repatriate them. They were taken to a screening centre near Khodiyar Nagar in a Vinayak city bus, when suddenly fire broke out inside the bus and they all jumped to safety.

A fire broke out in a foreigner’s bus near Wuda’s house in Khodiyar Nagar. The bus driver and passengers jumped out from the windows before the fire escalated and saved their lives. However, most of the passengers could not save their belongings from the fire.

The fire spreads quickly inside the front cabin of the bus’s and panic caused in people as the bus runs on CNG. Fire brigade rushed to the spot and control the fire after the continuos flow of water. Passengers and locals applauded the work of fire brigade to control the fire before it reaches to CNG tank.
