OSD Dr. Vinod Rao visited oxygen refilling centre at Navlakhi ground in Vadodara

Said this facility help in addressing emergency situations of Oxygen shortage immediately

Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao visited Navlakhi ground late last night on Thursday and review the refiling centre started by the administration there. He was pleasantly surprised to see refilling of Dura Cylinders of Hospitals happening at 1.30 am.

The Vadodara administration has set up the filling station at Navlakhi compound for timely supply of oxygen to the patients undergoing treatment under Corona. The filling station is providing timely oxygen supply to the patients undergoing treatment in government as well as private hospitals.

Dr. Rao make a visit at the station and was pleasantly surprised to see the refilling happening at 1.30 am. He said, 55 vehicles came today for refilling at the station. Each of these vehicles used to go to Halol and stand in long queues for refilling, spending 7-8 hours each time.

He informed that this refilling facility has helped save precious time, optimize the available Dura Cylinders and Porta Cryos and help in addressing emergency situations of Oxygen shortage immediately.
