OSD Dr. Vinod Rao visited Dhiraj hospital as part of future planning for Covid management

As the cases are increasing, Vadodara administration is taking every measure to increase the facilities in dedicated hospitals.

As part of future planning for COVID management OSD Dr. Vinod Rao visited Dhiraj Medical College Hospital in Sumandeep campus, Pipaliya on Friday.

He informed, at the moment we have designated COVID Hospital here and about 65 patients are treated. He also had discussion with Dr Dixit Shah how we can increase it to 600 bed COVID Hospital with 100 bed ICU and 60 Ventilators, if need arises.

Furthermore Dr. Rao saw the infrastructure available with them which can be upgraded into Dedicated COVID Hospital if need arises. He also discussed how they can use their Resident Doctors and Nursing College students for augmenting manpower in SSG and Gotri Hospital.

Dr. Rao said, they will have a meeting for this again tomorrow with all the concerned officers.
