OSD Dr. Vinod Rao visited dedicated Covid hospitals

Said number of patients decreased in both the hospitals

OSD Dr. Vinod Rao visited both the dedicated Covid hospitals to review the facilities for the Covid patients. He said the number of patients decreased in both Gotri and SSG hospitals.

Dr. Rao visited the Gotri Hospital and had detailed review with all the concerned. He informed to have capacity of more than 500 beds including more than 125 bed ICU.

As of today 205 COVID Positive patients are being treated, out of which 21 are on BIPAP support. Nobody is in invasive Ventilator today.

He further said, the total number of Hospitalized patients and the number of critical patients on Ventilators, BIPAP and Oxygen support have decreased in the last one week.

Dr. Rao also visited SSG Hospital and took stock of the situation with all concerned officials. He informed, we have created capacity for treating more than 550 COVID patients including 75 ICU beds. Pediatric Ward on 2nd Floor of Trauma Building has also been converted to COVID ICU.

Further added he said, at the moment 199 COVID Positive patients are being treated here, out of which 3 are on Ventilator and 18 on BIPAP support.

In SSG Hospital too we are seeing decline in number of patients in the last one week.
