OSD Dr. Vinod Rao detailed meeting on various issues at Gotri Medical College in Vadodara
Visited ICU and Isolation Ward inside the Dome Structure at Gotri COVID Hospital and interacted with patients, doctors, nurses and staff.
Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao on Sunday had another detailed round of meeting in Gotri Medical College Hospital with all the officers. The meeting is held to discuss various related issues including the pending ones.
Dr. Rao had a meeting with Chief Engineer of PIU along with Superintendent Engineer Electrical and other senior officers came from Gandhinagar. All pending issues of Airconditioning, fluctuating voltage, erratic electricity was discussed and guidelines were issued to the concerned authorities.
"Superintendent Engineer has been instructed to remain stationed in Vadodara till all issues are resolved. Director of Oxygen management Agency from Ahmedabad remained present and all issues pertaining to piped oxygen supply to Ventilators and BIPAPs will be resolved. Engineers of Agency from Delhi came and are installing 15 Ventilators in Gotri and 10 in SSG Hospital on Sunday," said Rao.
Later Dr. Rao visited ICU and Isolation Ward inside the Dome Structure at Gotri COVID Hospital and interracted with patients, doctors, nurses and staff. All senior officers of PIU, Oxygen Agency, Manpower Agency and doctors accompanied him.
He also instructed to install and activate BIOMETRIC ATTENDANCE SYSTEM for Class 1 to 4 staff including Contractual and Outsourced Staff from this week.

The compliant states that in the past 1 month, gross negligence has been observed by the firm in terms of provision of manpower and irregulatities in housekeeping services. Despite several intimatians, the firm has not improved its performance. The owners of the firm were asked to remain present in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Dr. Vinod Rao, IAS (OSD COVlD-19, Vadodara) on 7/6/2020 at 11 AM in GMERS Medical College & Hospital, Gotrl, Vadodara. Inspite of the intimation the owner has not bothered to temain present in the important meeting. In times of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the owners of this firm (M. J. Solankl and Dipak Nakrani) have neither bothered to comply the Instructions nor have improved their services. They have put the lives of several patients to risk in times of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
