Opener Murali Vijay out of 2nd Test against West Indies due to injury

Indian Opener Murali Vijay will not play in the second test match against West Indies at the Sabina Park today.

He was injured on the first day of the first test match against WI. He was hit on his thumb on the first day and he even couldn’t come on field in West Indies’s two innings.

He was in the nets on Wednesday where he was struggling with his injury and the next day he skipped the optional practice session.

Murali Vijay’s injury gives a chance to Banglore batsman Lokesh Rahul who has scored half centuries in both the warm up matches before the start of the test series. He will play hi sfirst test match at West Indies.
