Unidentified thieves break donation box of Kashi Vishwanath temple and steal Rs 2,000
After the lockdown, Vadodara city is facing incidents of thefts inside temples and others almost on a daily basis. In one such incident theft from inside temple donation box has come to light, where unidentified accused broke the donation box of famous Kashi Vishwanath temple near Lalbagh Bridge and stole stole Rs 2,000 and fled. Navapura police has registered the case and further investigating.
Arvindbhai Patel, resident of Manjalpur area is the managing trustee of the Kashi Vishwanath temple. In a complaint lodged at the Navapura police station he said, on August 25, Kashi Vishwanath temple clerk Bhailalbhai informed about theft inside the temple.
After checking they found the protective net and two donation boxes was broken carrying about 2000 rupees in cash. Navapura police registered a case of theft against unknown accused and hunt is on to arrested them.
