Will cover 6500 kilometers on foot to spread the word

Omkar Singh Dhillon starts a mission on foot to spread the message of removing the Electronic Voting Machines from voting. He demand ballot voting for choosing the government as it’s the safest way for the people to select their favorite candidates.

Omkar started his foot March from Rudrapur Uttrakhand spreading the message of ‘EVM Hatao Desh Bachao’ among people. Covering the cities of Muradabad, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Udaipur and Ahmedabad, Omkar reached Vadodara on Wednesday. He was welcomed by Congress members at Chhani octroi post where he interacted with people and aware them about his message.

“I set out on a mission with a request to ban the EVM as it turns out to be automatic machines and divert the votes. Why there are problems is the machines during voting which surely effect the results. I demand to start the ballot voting again for better democracy,” said Singh.

Omkar will cover around 6500 kilometers during his foot March. From Vadodara he will be heading to Karjan, Bharuch, Kamrej, Valsad, Vapi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and ends at Rajghat in Delhi sometime in March 2020 next year.
