On the occasion of International Women’s Day Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan felicitate 17 octogenarian females which includes four of them more than 100 years old.
The programme was organised at the Sardar Planetarium inside Kamatibaug where the octogenarian are felicitated. They feel happy with this recognition and said they live their life happily and don’t have any regret if they died.
The programme was organised under the ICDS urban project of the VMSS and the females were briefed about the project in the programme. The officials also request them to get the benefit of the scheme.
The octogenarian get emotional during the felicitation as they never thought of such respect for them.
