Police detained two from Kala Ghoda

NSUI members of Vadodara protest against the attack on their leaders in Ahmedabad and burn posters at Kala Ghoda circle. Police detained two of the members from the spot and keep strict security inside the university to prevent any untoward incident.

Violent clashes breaks down between NSUI and ABVP workers in Ahmedabad on Tuesday as the former was protesting against the violence in JNU Delhi. Police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the mob.

The effect spreads to Vadodara as the NSUI workers in the leadership of President Devang Thakor plan for a protest inside the campus. However police was kept there as a security measure and later they gathered at Kalaghoda circle and burn the posters of ABVP.

However before any untoward incident the police rushed there to detain Devang Thakor and former University GS Vraj Patel. Heated arguments was also seen between the two and traffic also disrupted for brief period in the area.
