In Chandod, NSS volunteers gave the message of voter awareness through rallies and pledge readings.

Campaign rallies are often held by candidates and parties on election closing days. But in Chandod of Dabhoi taluka National Service Scheme volunteer students organised a rally with banners on the public roads of the village to spread awareness and and took the oath of voting in the panchayat and municipal elections.

It may be recalled that under the guidance of District Election Officer and Collector, Shalini Agarwal Swap team is organising special programmes to spread the awareness in people about voting without fail.

Dr. Sudhir Joshi, Nodal Officer, SWAP, said that in collaboration with various mobile companies, they are sending bulk messages in order to give an accurate and persuasive message like Vote for a better India, my vote my right. Voter awareness messages have also been printed on electricity bills.
