Police formed separate teams to caught the accused
A notorious bootlegger, who was undergoing treatment at covid centre at Padra Primary Health Center, escaped from the building early in the morning. The accused tore the sheet made rope of it and fled through the window of the Covid Center. Vadodara district police formed separate teams to caught the accused.
As per available details, the District Local Crime Branch arrested Ashok Krishnaram Bishnoi, a notorious bootlegger, from Central Jail on a transfer warrant and he was kept in the custody of Vadu Police. His covid report came positive and was under treatment in Padra Primary Center from 17th May. Meanwhile, on getting a chance he escaped from the window of the covid center by making a rope from the sheet. The police rushed to the spot and began intensive search operation for the escaped accused.
According to the information received from the Vadu police station about the absconding bootlegger, the District Local Crime Branch has booked him in the Central Jail as an accused in a liquor case.
The notorious bootlegger Omprakash Hukmaram Bishnoi, a native of Rajasthan, currently living at Kalali-Bil Road in Vadodara and his associate Ashok Krishnaram Bishnoi, was arrested from Central Jail on May 12 on a transfer warrant. After their covid test report came as negative, both were produced in the Padra court on May 13 and get their remand till noon on May 17.
The bootleggers were subjected to covid tests before being present in court upon completion of their remand. In which Ashok Bishnoi's report comes as positive and he was admitted to the Padra Covid Care Center located at the Primary Health Center.
In the meantime, after getting a chance he tore his own bed sheet at the Covid Center
made a rope, climbed down from the window and fled. After the message Padra police reached the spot but the accused was not found. Meanwhile, the district police formed separate teams to caught the notorious bootlegger and launched an investigation.
