Nomenclature of “Babubhai & Savitaben Patel General Ward” at CHARUSAT Hospital

Shri
Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelvani Mandal organized a nomenclature ceremony
of Babubhai & Savitaben Patel General ward at CHARUSAT Hospital, Changa on
13th March 2020.  In the event,
humanitarian donor Savitaben Patel was felicitated with the prestigious Daan
Bhaskar Award.  In a special ceremony
Babubhai & Savitaben Patel General Ward at NABH accredited multispecialty
CHARUSAT Hospital was inaugurated by noble donor Savitaben Patel.

On the propitious occasion, great philanthropists and noble donor Babubhai & Savitaben Patel (Valasan/USA) were bestowed with Daan Bhaskar Award for their generous donation of more than Rs. 1 Crore to CHARUSAT Hospital.

Savitaben
Patel – wife of late Babubhai Patel, their US-based son Mayankbhai &
daughters Seemaben & Amitaben Patel along with Navinbhai Patel – Shantaben
Patel, Ghanshyambhai Patel and other family members and friends from their
Valasan and Karoli villages graced the august function.

The event
was also attended by Naginbhai Patel – President, Matrusanstha & CHRF, Dr.
M C Patel – Secretary, Matrusanstha, Kelvani Mandal & CHRF, Virendrabhai
Patel – Vice President, CHRF, C A Patel – Vice President, Kelvani Mandal,

bearers & board members of Matrusanstha – Kelvani Mandal – CHRF, principals
of campus colleges, CHARUSAT Hospital Medical Team and staff in large
numbers. 

Welcome
Speech and introduction of the guests was handled by Virendrabhai Patel – Vice
President, CHRF followed by the beautiful narration of the history of CHRF and
current activities and Sanmanpushpa for the donor by Dr. Devang Joshi –
Registrar, CHARUSAT University.  Dr. M C
Patel felicitated facilitated donor’s son Mayankbhai with a shawl while
Naginbhai Patel bestowed Savitaben with Daan Bhaskar Award.

Speaking on
behalf of the donor family, Mayankbhai Patel expressed deep gratitude while
accepting the award and also shared the life journey of the family and talked
about the struggle and hard work to reach at this esteemed status.  He credited his father for this felicitation
and recalled his contribution and teaching. 
He thanked his parents whose blessings helped them to reach to this
level.  He dedicated the award to his
father, mother, sisters and whole family. 
He also expressed great joy and delight about CHARUSAT’s contribution to
education and health.

Amitaben,
daughter of the donor Babubhai also expressed gratitude for such an honor to
CHARUSAT and also proudly remembered her father.

Navinbhai
Patel in his ceremonial speech paid an emotional tribute to his big brother
late Shri Babubhai. Babubhai left for the USA with dreams in his eyes and
fulfilled them with his hard work and dedication. 

Maheshbhai
Patel – Anand District BJP President applauded Babubhai & his entire family
for their great donation in CHARUSAT and encouraged Mayankbhai to follow his
father’s footstep.  Dr. M C Patel
expressed gratitude to Babubhai – Savitaben for such a humongous contribution.

Naginbhai in
his speech reiterated his appeal for people to come forward and donate
generously to make CHARUSAT Hospital medically more advanced which is already
providing excellent service to surrounding 35 villages.
