NI:SVARTH, selfless service (ngo) Saree ki Bari celebrated ‘Panch-Mahabhuta’, a digital event on World Environment Day. The ladies wore traditional sarees of any five colours symbolises the five elements and pledge to protect the mother Earth.
In view of the lockdown and maintaining the rules, the event was a digital event where the ladies celebrate the day from their homes and share their pictures.
“The earth is made up of Panchtattva Pruthvi, Jal, Vayu, Agni and Akash, the ladies wore Traditional Sarees of any of the colors of these five elements. The colours are, Pruthvi- Green, Jal-Blue, Vayu-Brown, Agni-Red and Aakash-White. The ladies wore sarees to salute and celebrate with a promise to protect the Earth and sent us their videos, which will be compiled by us,” said Ritu Bansal President NI:SVARTH.
