Gas Cutters Used to Extract Body After Iron Angle Smashes Through SUV in Jaipur’s Murlipura Area.

A tragic road accident in Jaipur claimed the life of a Scorpio driver after an iron angle fatally pierced his chest, police said on Tuesday. The horrifying incident occurred when the SUV reportedly lost control and rammed into construction material lying along the roadside.

According to officials, a long iron angle used at a nearby construction site broke through the windshield upon impact and pierced the driver’s chest, killing him on the spot. The force of the collision left the vehicle severely damaged, trapping the victim inside.

Police and emergency teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the accident. Due to the iron rod being lodged deep inside the body and the mangled condition of the vehicle, rescuers had to use a heavy-duty cutter to carefully extract the body from the wreckage. The operation took considerable time as officials ensured the companion seated inside the vehicle was safely evacuated first.

The co-passenger miraculously escaped with minor injuries and is reported to be safe. Authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash, including whether overspeeding or poor visibility played a role.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, and further legal proceedings are underway.
