The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced that some banking operations would be stopped on certain days in November 2021, while online banking will continue to operate.
Banks will remain closed for total 17 days in the month of November-- 11 as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar list and the remaining days are that of weekends.
According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar list, banks will be closed for a total of 17 days in November, 11 of which will be weekends.
The Reserve Bank of India categorises its holidays into three categories: Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holidays, and Banks' Account Closing.
However, it should be noted that bank holidays vary by state and are not always honoured by all banking institutions. Banking holidays are also dependent on state-specific festivities or notifications of certain events in various states.

The above-mentioned days will be observed as government holidays in various regions; nevertheless, banks will be closed across the country on the gazetted holidays.
