Another accused Alpesh alias alpu Vadhwani also arrested from Haryana
Main accused in high profile Gotri rape case Ashok Jain and Alpesh alias alpu Vadhwani were arrested by Vadodara police on the day Gujarat Home Minister visited Vadodara. Jain was arrested from Palitana and Alpu Sindhi from Gurgaon in Haryana by crime branch and Cyber crime team.
"Main accused in Gotri rape case Ashok Jain and Alpu Sindhi was arrested by teams of Vadodara crime branch, cyber crime and SIT. Jain was arrested from a dharamshala in Palitana where he was hiding. With the help of human sources we managed to caught him as he avoid using the mobile in these days. After covid test he will be thoroughly investigated by the team. Alpu Sindhi is also on the way with our team and will be cross investigated for his involvement in the case. He is also wanted in prohibition case, "said D. S. Chauhan ACP Crime Vadodara.
Earlier the police team arrested Kanji Mokaria and Raju Bhatt in the matter and on Thursday arrest of main accused Ashok Jain and Alpu Sindhi from different places. The investigating team will further investigate in the matter.
