New Municipal Commissioner Ajay Bhadoo took charge on Tuesday and met Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Standing Committee chairman and discussed the city scenario. He said about giving his prime focus on basic amenities in the city. GPCC General Secretary Narendra Rawat also met the new commissioner and handover him a 10 questions letter about the pleas of Barodians.
On Tuesday morning Ajay Bhadoo takes his charge and welcomed by the officials at the VMSS office. He then met Mayor Dr. Jigisha Sheth, Deputy Mayor Jivraj Chauhan and standing committee chairman Satish Patel and discussed the development work going on in Vadodara city. He also met the other officials and access primary details from them about the work continuing in the city.
Declaring his vision he said about giving primary focus on basic amenities like drinking water, drainage and roads in city. He also urge for providing permanent solution for rain water access as many areas are waterlogged during monsoon.
GPCC General Secretary Narendra Rawat along with Councillor Ami Rawat welcomed the new Municipal Commissioner and also handover him a 10 questions related to the people of Vadodara. Rawat said they requested the Commissioner to put focus on basic amenities and provide two time fresh drinking water, proper drainage system and good roads. They requested him to go through the 10 questions related to the problems of people of Vadodara and later concentrate on the smart city projects.
