    Nearly four people injured in a firing incident happened under Dumad Crossing bridge near Vadodara city. All the injured are shifted to SSG hospital for treatment. Top police officials reached the spot and further investigation is underway in the matter.

    At Dumad Chokdi near Vadodara city the dispute between two groups operating chakras and transporting passengers took ugly turn on Monday afternoon. Around 15 youths from the minority community reached the spot and attacked the place with stone sticks and opened fire, injuring 4 persons.

    An internal quarrel had been going on for some time between some youths who were transporting passengers near Dumad Chokdi in Vadodara city. The youths from a minority community came in three four-wheelers this afternoon and attacked some youths of Bharwad community and fled. The incident shocked everyone as people ran for safety.

    In the presence of the traffic police Dumad Bridge is always buzzing with constant traffic and the incident shocked everyone present there. Four youths were seriously injured in the incident and have been admitted to Sayaji Hospital. The incident caused a traffic jam and Vadodara district police officials rushed to the spot and conducted an investigation.
