The whole world is fighting with deadly Coronavirus and governments are taking every steps to help people to stay safe and healthy. NGOs and local administration are distributing food to stranded migrant workers and labourers in such difficult times. Taking a special care to the women NDRF with district administration taken a initiative by providing them the dignity kits.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) constituted for the purpose of specialist response to a threatening disaster situation act as ‘Padman’ for the people in such difficult time. Considering the special care towards people 6 BN NDRF Commandant R.S. Joon comes up with the unique idea to maintain the dignity of the women and help them with dignity kits.

The teams also distributed the kits to men also in some of the places. The teams distributed the kits in Vadodara as well as Gandhinagar to the people stranded at places and quarantined by the government in view of Coronavirus scare.
“The team distributed the dignity kits at Vadodara SIHFW TRAINING CENTRE ( Quarantine centre) Vadodara and Gandhinagar Om International School Chiloda road and Kari High School a earmarked Quarantine centre in Gandhinagar Ahmedabad. Total 562 dignity kits distributed in these districts,” said R.K. Mishra Deputy Commandant and PRO 6 NDRF Jarod.
The women Dignity kits consists of, Tooth paste,Tooth brush for adults & child, Bathing soap, Washing Soap, watching towel, Undergarments 2 pairs each, Salwar suit with dupatta, nail cutter, Mirror, comb, Sanitary Pads (most important ), plastic bucket & Mug, Antiseptic cream. In Male Dignity kits, Saving brush, Shaving blades, Kurta paijama, under garments and small scizzors with other common essentials like bucket, mug, towel, tooth brush.
