No. 2 Gujarat Air Squadron National Cadet Corps Ahmedabad Group has commenced flying training at Mehsana airfield from 07 Jun 19. The first training flight was undertaken by Wing Commander JH Mankad Commanding Officer 2 Guj Air Sqn NCC with Cadet Dhyey Rathod. Microlight flying training for the cadets of Ahmedabad Air Sqn was being undertaken at Vadodara since 2003 due to traffic congestion at Ahmedabad.

All the Air Wing Cadets will be given air experience on Zen Air microlight and the cadets perform well will be selected to represent the NCC Dte Gujarat at All India Vayu Sainik Camp at Jodhpur in Oct 19.
No. 2 Guj Air Sqn conducts the training of NCC cadets from different schools and colleges of Ahmedabad and surrounding areas including flying training on Microlight aircraft.
