    As part of NCC Ex Yogdan, the NCC Directorate Gujarat continues its efforts in employing its Cadets at more locations in support of Civil Administration towards its fight against Covid-19. As on date a total of 02 Officers, 558  cadets, 52 ANOs and 63 Permanent Instructors of NCC are deployed in the state of Gujarat.

    In Gandhidham 88 volunteer cadets of 6 Guj Naval unit along with 05 ANOs, and 08 Permanent Instructors were deployed at 10 different locations across the city and at Adipur and Anjarat for traffic management in assistance with the police. Some of these locations of deployment are Mundhra Circle, Chawla Chowk, Oslo Circle and Chitrakut Circle. Cadets were seen educating the people on the various precautions to be taken against COVID -19.

    In Nadiad, 65 cadets, 07 Permanent Instructors and 06 ANOs were deployed at Nadiad, Vaso, Mehadabad for assisting the Civil Administration. The Cadets have been actively involved in traffic control, queue management at banks and ATMs and also for food distribution at various locations.

    In Banaskantha, 86 volunteer cadets, 08 ANOs and  06 Permanent Instructors of 35 Gujarat Bn were deployed under Colonel Amit Purty at Vadgaon, Palanpur and Deesa at various  locations in the city. The Cadets enthusiastically assisted the police in traffic management.

    In Bharuch, 22 volunteer cadets and 02 ANOs were deployed in data management and traffic management at Bharuch Town and Ankleshwar. The cadets also educated the people on precautions to be taken against COVID -19.

    At Anand, 25 volunteer cadets, 01 ANOs and 02 Permanent Instructors were deployed at three locations in Anand. All the cadets were actively involved in supporting police in traffic control and providing assistance to the local population. In addition, NCC cadets were also  deployed at Jamnagar, Bhuj, Himmatnagar, Navsari, Gandhinagar, Junagarh and Rajkot.
