NCC Day celebration at Vadodara headquarter

A ceremony with limited attendance was organised by 3 Gujarat Battalion NCC, under the aegis of HQ NCC Group Vadodara to commemorate the NCC Day. The programme included Flag Hoisting, Guard of Honour followed by a motivation talk by Col S Pawan Kumar, Sena Medal, CO 3 Guj Bn and taking of NCC Pledge by all. In the end NCC Song was recited by all present there at the event.

During the talk the CO spoke about the glorious past and innumerable achievements of NCC since it’s inception. He reiterated the Aims of NCC and highlighted the valuable contribution during COVID as part of EX YOGDAAN by NCC Cadets across the country. The CO also spoke about the importance of Digitisation in future of NCC activities.

CO appreciated the good work done by Cadet Deep Bhanushali of M S University who selflessly saved a civilian’s life who had met with a road accident. The cadets were motivated and were asked to act in a similar manner and take initiative in helping the needy citizens of the country.

Considering the COVID environment, the ceremony was kept at low key and was attended by only 35 cadets from MS University along with their ANO, Lt Ravikumar, Adm Officer 3 Guj Bn, Lt Col Amit Banerjee, Sub Maj Budhwa Hora and selected PI Staff of 3 Guj Bn besides the media representatives.
