Australia’s top FMX athlete Shaun Webb and Hannes Ackerman of Germany stole hearts with dare devil stunts

In between huge cheers and shouts the riders from all across India showed their driving skills in the fast paced artificial track prepared at Navlakhi. The event was the 3rd round of 20th edition of the MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2019 held in Vadodara.

This was the 3nd round of the 6 rounds taking the Championship to the most critical midway mark.

The highlight of the event was the FMX show held for the second time in Vadodara. The crowd witnessed the thrilling ‘Freestyle Motocross‘ show by Australia’s top FMX athlete Shaun Webb performing on a Honda CR 450 and Hannes Ackerman of Germany astride a KTM 450, perform the most unbelievable tricks and stunts ever performed on motorcycles.

This is the biggest off-road 2 wheeler National Racing Championship. GODSPEED Racing, Pune spearheaded by 7 times National Champion Shyam Kothari have owned the rights of organizing this Championship for the last 7 years. This event in Vadodara is organised by Godspeed in association with BAR presided by Sunil Nigam.

The 20th edition of the MRF MoGrip-FMSCI National Supercross championship has attracted almost 110 participants across the 8 categories in each of their previous events. The third round was held in Vadodara after the first two rounds at Coimbatore and Bangalore. This time the race held at a new venue of Navlakhi ground in the city.

The technically demanding track is 800 meters in length, which includes 12 double jumps, a cut tabletop, 1 tabletop, whoops and berms. Shyam Kothari and his team have designed a very fast track this time around which promises plenty of fight on track also making it a visual treat for the spectators.

There are total eight Categories consists of SX 1 (Foreign Open, Group A, Two/Four Stroke, up to 250cc Two-Stroke and 500cc Four-Stroke), SX 2 Foreign Open, Group A, Two/Four Stroke, up to 250cc Two-Stroke and 500cc Four-Stroke), Junior SX, Group A/B/C/D up to 260cc, Indian Expert Class, Group B, Two/Four Stroke, up to 260cc, Indian Expert Class, Group C Two/Four Stroke, up to 260cc, Expert Class, Group C, Two/Four Stroke, up to 260cc, Novice Class, Group C, Two/Four Stroke, up to 260cc and lastly the Locals Class to give platform to the city riders.
