Nisarg Chadha, the Class XII student from Navrachana School (Sama) brought glory to Vadodara and Gujarat after emerged as the Gujarat Topper in the JEE Mains held in January 2020. He is among the nine students in the entire country to score 100 percentile and the only one from Gujarat.

A diligent student and an exceptional all-rounder, Nisarg is also a KVPY and NTSE Scholar. He was also adjudged ‘Mathematician of the Year’ at Infinity 2019 national competition held at Aditya Birla School, Mumbai. A keen Quizzer, he has brought pride to his School time and again.

Varun Saikia a class IX student was the top winner in the category ‘Cleanliness and Health” at the CBSE National Science Exhibition held at Suncity School, Gurgaon from 16th to 18th January 2020. His project Makara and Flipper – the device that cleans water bodies of floating plastic waste earned him high acclaim from none other than CBSE Chairperson, Anita Karwal, IAS. He was also the youngest innovator to participate in Vibrant Gujarat - Global Trade Show 2019.

He was earlier invited by Lake Forest School, Illinois, USA, to give a Skype talk to the science students in that school about his project and he was further asked to provide consultancy to them. Both Nisarg and Varun attribute their success to the spirit of innovation that is encouraged at Navrachana School, Sama.
